Our Story
LI was born from a lifelong fascination with design and the city that shaped it. Our founder, Leen, grew up in Abu Dhabi and watched as the city, too, grew around her.
From a young age she was captivated by the emirate’s evolving skyline, observing from the car window, how each line, shape, texture, and color made up the strands of the city’s fabric. This attention to detail is at the heart of LI: the focus on how small elements combine to become the tremendous.
Guided by her father’s strong compass of excellence and agility, she learned that speed should never compromise precision and that grand ideas are only as powerful as their execution. Today, LI stands as an embodiment of Leen’s vision and commitment to detail: a firm that blends Abu Dhabi’s heritage with global design innovation, creating projects that are bold, agile, and uncompromising in quality. From residential communities to commercial landmarks, every project we take on is a testament to the belief that architecture should be both functional and poetic, local and global, timeless and transformative.
